Our History
Christ Love for Women & Orphans was officially established in April 2026 with a clear vision: to serve, protect, and provide stability to vulnerable widows and orphans across our community in Bangladesh.
Our charity was directly founded on the Word of God in Psalm 68:5:
“Father of the fatherless and protector of widows is God in his holy habitation.”
We firmly believe that the foundation and establishment of our charity came directly from God. Through His grace and guidance, He brought together a wonderful team of members who, despite their own personal commitments, decided to volunteer their time and effort to help and build our organisation.
We are a small charity consisting of 9 individuals, and our journey has just begun.
Since our establishment, we have successfully completed two activities.
1. International Widows Day – June 23, 2026
Our first activity was organised on International Widows Day, June 23, 2026.
Our team organised an outreach across Dhaka, Jamalpur, and Gopalganj, where we provided basic food rations to eleven people.
We spent time praying and having small conversations with each one of our sisters in Christ.
2. Second Food Support – August 2026
In August 2026, we returned to Gopalganj to deliver a second round of food supplies, continuing our commitment to serve, protect, and provide stability to our brothers and sisters in Christ.
Throughout this outreach, we seek to show that God is here with us. He listens, comforts, and provides.
All the Glory Belongs to Him! Amen!
TOWARDS THE FUTURE
As of now, we are a self-funded charity group, which makes the scale of our activities limited. However, through God, we have a great vision ahead of us.
Our long-term aspirations include:
Developing sustainable training programmes, such as baking and handicraft skills, to empower widows and help them build financial independence and self-sufficiency.
Establishing an orphan care centre to provide care, support, and a safe environment for orphaned children.
Providing safe shelters to vulnerable individuals who are in need of protection and stability.
Expanding our outreach programmes across Bangladesh so that we can reach and support more vulnerable widows and orphans.
Although these are our future visions, we are trusting God that, in His time, the right doors will be opened, with the necessary resources and opportunities to expand and successfully reach our aspirations.
We believe that every individual we are able to help and support is provided by God. Through His provision and guidance, we are able to serve those in need.
Our charity has only just begun. We are taking things step by step. Our resources and activities are limited, but that is not the case for God.
With our faith in our Heavenly Father and our commitment to serve others, we pray that we will continue to grow and become a blessing to vulnerable widows and orphans.
We give all Glory to God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Through Him, we have been able to come this far, and we trust in Him that He has already made a way for us.
